“I have been married for almost 50 years to a beautiful, caring, and loving wife, who ended up with breast cancer. That breast cancer almost took her life, and unfortunately did take the life of her seven ‘breast buddies’, who were diagnosed at the same time. As a result of the extensive chemo treatment, she ended up going into Euthyroid Syndrome; that being the term given to when a previously healthy thyroid is so heavily impacted (in her case – suppressed) that an autoimmune condition (Hashimoto’s for my wife) develops.
